Hi.

One of our employees opened a ticket in one of our Jira projects and by mistake wrote there some sensitive information that should not have been written there.

The ticket has been deleted by him, but we want to make sure that it's not recoverable after deleting it.

Can you please confirm if the ticket is deleted permanently? or is there a certain time that the ticket will sit in a kind of a "trash" container before been deleted for good?

Welcome to the community!

No, Jira does not have a waste-bin, a deleted issue is deleted.  It only exists in your backups now.
