I'm having a problem with automation when trying to add a repository while creating a rule for GitHub, although I added an integration with a github earlier:
This issue can happen if the automation rule doesn’t have the right permissions or if the repository isn’t properly connected to your GitHub account. Try checking that the app or integration has access to the repo and refresh the connection. Also, make sure your rule conditions and triggers are correctly set. Re-adding the repository usually helps fix it.
Hi @Sofiia
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
It means Automation does not yet have authorization from your GitHub organization to access its repositories.
Go to GitHub → Organization Settings → Third-party access.
Authorize the Atlassian Automation app
During the authorization, select the relevant organization and repositories that Lassian Automation should access.
Once done, return to Jira → Project settings → Automation → Connections → GitHub and refresh.
