Hi all,

Ever since our team updated to the latest 9.12 Jira Software LTS (Data Center) we've seen that the system field "Due Date" has had its name label changed from "Due Date" to "Due Date (d/MMM/yy)".

Is there a way to get rid of the formatting that was added at the end of the field? (IE: The '(d/MMM/yy)' )

This is useless to use and doesn't even show the correct format since we've changed the default date formatting for our instance.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi @Michael,

As far as I know, you can't remove these brackets. The format you see in brackets is defined as jira.date.picker.java.format in Advanced Settings (Administration > General configuration).

Hi Kseniia,

We have already re-defined the date format, and before we updated to 9.12 LTS, the Due Date field never showed these brackets at the end of the field.

We want to know how we can possibly revert the name of the due date field back to the way it was prior to the 9.12 LTS update. (IE: so that it just says "Due Date")

Having brackets afterwards makes the field become a "two lined" field which is very un-wanted.

Thanks,

Mike
