We are receiving a "500 - Internal server error" trying to access our project. The status appears to be "Operational", so beginning to think this is limited to our account.
I have been unable to raise a ticket, so was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same?
Hello @Declan Newman ,
There was an incident viewable on our status page status.atlassian.com under the Jira software page https://jira-software.status.atlassian.com/ that lines up with the time frame when you reported this error, that I believe caused this, noting:
Oct 6, 2020Resolved - Sometime around 2020-10-06 10:54 UTC, we experienced a temporary outage for some Jira Software Cloud customers. The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally.
Oct 6, 15:42 UTCMonitoring - We have identified the root cause of the temporary outage and have mitigated the problem. We are now monitoring closely.
Oct 6, 14:53 UTCInvestigating - We are investigating an issue where the application is not accessible that is impacting some Jira Software Cloud customers. We will provide more details within the next hour.
Oct 6, 13:44 UTC
The incident has been resolved, so you should no longer see the 500 error at login, and please do let me know if you are still seeing any errors. Additionally, if you are still encountering the issue, I would recommend flushing the browser cache as a first step in case something is hung up in the browser's cache, but if no change occurs we will need to check this out as a one-off, let me know how it goes and I will get a support request created for you so we can investigate further.
Regards,
Earl
Thanks, @Earl McCutcheon .
Yes, the only incident that was being reported for approx. 1 hour was with Bitbucket, so was worried it was specific to our account.
Thanks for the detailed reply. Very much appreciated.
