Hi,

I have 2 completely separate projects but every time I edit the Sprint Goal, timeline, etc in one, it edits the other project too.

The stories are different also.

Hi Sarah,

Sprints are not project specific.  So when you see these two sprints appearing in different boards in different projects, they are actually the same sprint.  This explains why editing one directly affects the other; it's the same object.

Please see the KB Sprints shared between multiple boards.  It can help to explain that what has most likely happened here is that an issue in project A, board A, Sprint A - was moved to project B without first clearing the sprint field.   When this happens, that sprint will start to appear on Board B as well.   That specific functionality is actually expected.

If that's a problem, you could remove this specific issue from the sprint.  That way it would still be in project B, but that sprint won't appear over there if there are 0 issues in that sprint that match the board filter of board B.

Let me know if you have any followup concerns about this.

Andy
