Hi Everyone,
This is my 1st article not sure how much is helpful for jira users.
Shortcut Method for Quick Access
Jira Cloud's List View provides a clean, spreadsheet-style interface to view and manage issues. While it doesn't offer direct ways to save multiple list configurations, there's a clever workaround using the "Shortcuts" tab in the project to save and switch between customized list views.
Here's how you can do it step-by-step:
Steps to Create and Save Multiple List Views via Shortcuts
1. Go to the List View
Navigate to your project.
Click on the "List" tab.
This brings up the List View layout for your issues.
2. Apply Filters to Create a Custom List View
Use the filter bar at the top of the List View.
For example, if you want to view only completed issues:
Click the “Status” dropdown.
Select "Done".
This filters the List View accordingly.
3. Copy the Sharing Link
After applying the filters, Jira automatically updates the URL.
Click the “Share” button (top right corner).
Copy the generated URL — this link preserves your filter and layout!
4. Add the Link in the Shortcuts Tab
Click "Shortcuts" → "Add shortcut".
Paste the copied link.
Give it a clear name, like: “Done Tasks List”.
5. Rename the Shortcuts Section (Optional)
Click the three(...) dots next to "Shortcuts".
Rename it to "List Views" for clarity.
6. Repeat for Other Useful Views
Want to see tasks Due This Week?
Apply the “Due Date” filter → select “Due this week”.
Click Share → Copy the link.
Go to Shortcuts → Add another shortcut.
Name it “Due This Week”.
Repeat this process for other useful list views like:
My Open Issues
High Priority Bugs
Issues Without Estimates
Upcoming Releases
Sprint-Specific Tasks
Result
Your "List Views" section now becomes a quick-access menu to open various pre-filtered list views in one click — without creating separate filters or dashboards!
