I know this is a Jira series, but here are some helpful Confluence queries for your snippet library.
Confluence has robust search capabilities like Jira, but instead of querying specific fields, you’re querying for keywords in content. Use the search bar at the top of any Confluence page to find what you’re looking for. Here are some format examples to try.
Use quotes to find a single or multi-word phrase.
Finds “meeting notes”, “meeting”, and “notes”:
“meeting notes”
Note: Stop words like “and”, “the”, “or”, and “it”, and special characters like hyphens (-) and underscores (_), are automatically ignored.
Use an asterisk (*) to expand the search by one or more characters.
Finds “meeting” and “meeter”:
meet*
Note: Leading asterisks (example: *meet) are not supported.
Use “and” to include multiple terms.
Finds instances of both terms:
meeting AND notes
Use “not” to exclude specific terms.
Finds “meeting” but excludes “meeting notes”:
meeting NOT notes
