In order to reduce Work Item Type proliferation in my instance, I'm attempting to leverage multiple forms for a single work item type and automatically populate certain fields based on the Form used to generate the issue. It doesn't seem like a form can populate a field under the hood (i.e. set Request Source to Beta Community if from Form:Beta-Community) but I have seen it documented that work items created from forms *should* add a label to the issue that corresponds to the Form that generated it. This doesn't seem to be working when I attempt this. Am I understanding this functionality correctly? If not, can you point me in the right direction where I might be able to learn more about enabling this kind of behavior?
Ah disregard the labels issue: I see that there is an open bug about this here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-95324. However I would certainly be interested in hearing your opinion about whether this solution is the current best solution for my use case.

This feature hasn't been improved in years, has it? It's quite rudimentary and therefore not really useful for us. The creation screen is essentially the same (there users can select which fields they want to fill in there).
