Why does my column only show 2 items when the underlying statuses show 18?

I have a Kanban board and added some columns showing different statuses.  Even though I can see there should be 18 items displayed in a column, only 2 items show on the board.  What would be the reason for this?

What type of board is it (Scrum, kanban or project), and what type of project (team or company managed)?

Which columns did you get this problem? There are many reason

• You did not mapping the status to right column in board setting
• Your issues were hidden by some filter (board filter, sub-filter, quick filter)

Please check your board configuration.
