When I try to request token for Jira REST service I get an error saying that 'Something went wrong while executing your request. We're working on it, please try again shortly.'
Hi Dave,
Thank you for getting in touch with our Community.
Just for us to better understand and help you with this issue, I'll make some questions:
Is this the first time that you are trying to create the token?
When did this issue start?
Have you tried to generate the token using another browser?
Would it be possible to open the developer tools while generating the token just to check if it shows another error?
Once we hear back from you, we can further investigate the issue.
Regards,
Angélica
This is first time that I am trying to create a token.
This issue started whilst I create and use a token.
I only used Microsoft Edge.
Finally I used Basic authorization to solve that problem but I think that it's not best solution.

Hi Dave,
Thank you for the details and sorry for the misunderstanding, I thought that you weren't able to generate the token through the id.atlassian.com.
If you are using Postman it only works now with Basic Auth, I can tell you by experience that before using Postman with Interceptor, it worked without basic auth, but after some updates, it only accepts basic auth.

Angélica
