I have setup a Workflow to automate ticket locations based on values specified in the ticket. For example, I have a bunch of tickets sitting in the 'TO-DO' Status column. I then specified a Value to look out for i.e. 'Happy to estimate' (which I added via configuring Project Settings). But even though 'Happy to estimate' is selected, the ticket remains in the 'TO-DO' Status column rather than automatically moving into 'In Progress' Status column.
Hi @Danno ,
I looked and it's a team project.
I don't really know the subject of team projects
If I have time to look on a test project.

Hi @Morgan DUBUISSON and @Danno - thanks so much for getting back to me on this. I haven't used an add-on for this, so not quite sure why the lightning bolt icons were appearing to be honest. If this is related to they way the project is setup i.e. if there is another way, I'm more than happy to start again. I'm basically trying to implement a better process where we can track and manage Estimations better (I'm sure this area is a thorn in every software company!).
Cheers again and look forward to any help on this :)

OK, it had been quite some time since I had a Team Managed project question and had totally forgotten about the minimal workflow modification feature.
So, now I would ask that you send a screenshot of the automation rule you created that isn't working. That will help solve the problem.

@Danno - thanks for coming back to me on this. I'm attaching one of the Rules that isn't working for me. In the 'Review its value as' field above, I have tried both 'Text' and 'A Selection'.
I'm more than happy to change or create a new Project which is not 'Team Managed' if that will help?
Cheers,
Vinay

@VinayPthis rule isn't going to do what you expected in your first entry. What it will do is keep someone from transitioning the ticket to In Progress if they haven't selected "Happy to Estimate" in the Status of estimation dropdown field.
This rule is a validator in a workflow in company-managed projects.
Since you are using the Standard plan you should be able to access automation rules to do what you want. That is a whole other subject. Unfortunately, the Standard Plan does not allow for unlimited rule runs. You are allowed a certain number of runs/mon. I believe. Given that you have 12 rules in this one workflow alone you will hit that limit pretty quickly I would think.
