Multiple database connection to Jira

My company have multiple departments, but currently only one of them is using Jira.

I have been looking if you could connect two databases to one instans of Jira.

ex. one database used by devoplement teams and one for operational teams, as the data and information is different for both departments.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

The only way to use a separate database is to install a second Jira instance, with another licence (which you can't get for server any more, as it is going away)

Hi @Line Poulsen welcome to the community.  Sorry Jira doesn't work that way.
