MS project is a very useful tool for managing work. far more user-friendly than other tools out there. is there anything in the pipeline to link these together without having to get a third application?
There is nothing on the roadmap to do this and I was not able to find anything in the feature requests. I would suggest submitting a feature request with what you desire here: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa
