Hello community,

I have two different JIRA's and I want to link one issue from JIRA A to another issue on JIRA B, however when cliking on link issue button (in JIRA A) I can't see the Stories from the other JIRA B.

As I am admin in both, I have already created an application link between both instances with outgoing OAuth and incoming OAuth as well. The status of the connection is 'Connected'.

Am I missing something to be done here?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Ricardo Beatriz ,

Currently it is working is old issue view and you need to switch to old view to link other instance issues. In new issue view you will be able link issues of same instance.

Please follow below steps.

1. Go to target issue > Click on more (...) > Turn off New Issue View.

2. Navigate back to target issue and Click on More & Select Click.

Please refer below screenshots for your reference.

This is an interesting requirement . I have never linked issues between two different JIRA instances.

Does creating application link alone work ? Not sure if " Linked Issues " option was ever meant to link two issues in two different instances .

Have you ever heard anyone do it before ?
