Is there a way to access Jira and Zephyr database directly?

Since Jira and Zephyr does not communicate, we need to obtain some reports with data from Jira and Zephyr executions.

Client has requested if there is a way to access database directly through an external application or API to obtain this data in a easier way?

Are you on Jira Server or Jira Cloud, and do you mean the Zephyr for Jira App, the connector for Jira to Zephyr-server app, or the Zephyr service itself?
