Is it possible to create a Next Gen project template?

Is it possible to create a Next Gen project template?

As with a classic project I was wondering if there was anyway to update or define a user defined template for use with Next Gen projects.

The goal here is just to reduce the time it takes to spin up a project. Right now I have to manually update each new project with proper fields, rules, status etc..

The short answer is no, currently you cannot create a next-gen template. There is a subtask to the main Jira Cloud suggestion for this, see JSWCLOUD-17430
