How to make a Kanban board for epics?

We do high level planning on epics level and I thought I could set up a kanban board where we move around epics, just like we move around Stories on the kanban board of the development team.

So I filtered out the epics and created a board but they will not show up on the board. Is this not possible? Should I use another Jira tool for this?

Is the epic panel activated? Maybe that's why your epics are not visible on the kanban board. One more though, on this new board that you've created, are all statuses mapped correctly to the columns?

Sorrry for bothering you. I found the "Epics panel" button on the columns page of the board onfiguration. It changed everything.
