How to install jira datacenter software on local linux server

Hi Team:

I am a user of Jira server software, now I want to test and evaluate the features of jira datacenter software, but I don't find the download address of any version jira datacenter software. could you help me to figure out the address of any version. many thanks.

Hello, @zhaoyongming ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

The simplest way of changing a Server instance of Jira Software to a Data Center instance of Jira Software is to change the license by adding your Data Center license.  The installation packages are identical.

Just a quick clarification - this is true of Jira 8.8 and above. If you've got Jira Server 8.7 or older, it will look for a cluster.properties file and want to have "shared" infrastructure in place for scaling, even if you're only planning on using a single node. Details on clustering are available here.

Again, only a consideration if you're not already on Jira 8.8 or newer. Cheers!

Edit: the installation packages are the same even if you are on 8.7 or below. This note is only for clarifying the conversion of an existing Server install to a Data Center instance.
