Hey guys, new here!  Hopefully someone can help.

I'm looking for some sort of reporting that can show what amount of tickets have been closed and what amount of effort has been on those tickets ie 1/2/5/8 etc.

So it can either be 2 different reports or together;
1 would be just the amount of tickets active in a given time frame whether it be weekly/monthly or you can choose a specific time frame

2 would be just the amount of effort on those tickets over those same time frames.

Hello @Mikey Robertson

Welcome to the community!!

Jira cloud projects offer a bunch of reports like Sprint Report, BUrndown chart etc natively at the project level.

Additionally, we can also make use of the dashboard where we can add relevant gadgets with proper filters to create the required reports.

Atlassian documentation for reports is available here.

And for dashboards, please refer to the documentation available here.

Apart from these options, there are multiple plugins available on the Atlassian Marketplace which provide functionality for reports.

Hi,

The eazyBI app for Jira allows creating completely customized reports. You may check the Demo account showing the dashboards created with eazyBI. The Project overview and the Time tracking dashboards seem to cover your use cases:
