How to filter roadmap by assignee at sub-task level?

Ashley Leger April 11, 2022

Within my roadmap for a software project, I have 1) epics, 2) stories and then 3) sub-tasks which make up each story.

I want to be able to filter by assignee at the sub-task level to see all of each employee's outstanding tasks they need to complete.

It looks like one can only filter at the epic and story level.

What is the work-around to this? As different people are assigned to separate sub-tasks, which then complete the story. And if I just list all of the different assignees to the story, I still don't get to see the various sub-tasks they are each assigned to in one view.

Update: My current work around is just each person going to their "your-work" page when you sign into Jira to see all items assigned to you that are outstanding.

Good for each individual, but prevents a manager from seeing outstanding easily at per-person level across sub-tasks.
