Hi @Heba Shehata and welcome to the community,

If you are working on a company managed project, and if you are a project admin, you can add new statuses to a workflow if that is using the simplified workflow and not shared by other projects as well. If you are not using the simplified workflow, then only a Jira Admin can change the workflow and add/remove statuses.

If you are using the simplified workflow then:

  • Go to project settings
  • Workflows
  • Click the pencil icon next to your workflow
  • If you are allowed to make changes, add any status as well as the global transition
  • Publish your workflow

If you are working on team managed project, then as the admin you have the ability to make your own changes to any workflow within your project. To do so:

  • Go to project settings
  • Issue types > Click on "epic"
  • Click the "Edit Workflow" button on the top (more or less) of the screen

Let me know if the above helped you.

@Heba Shehata Welcome to the Atlassian community

You can only edit a workflow as a project admin if there are no other projects using it.  As a Jira admin you can edit all workflows.  You can follow the documentation here on how to edit a workflow.  https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/work-with-issue-workflows/
