hi - Does anyone know if its possible to create a DEL (delivery object) from a DESK ticket.

Like could we have a button on a DESK, so that once you have analysed the issue and realise it needs more work so you need to create a DEL and you just click the button and it creates a DEL with all the DESK data,

Or do we just have the option to link the DESK to a DEL?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

This is probably something you need to ask of your Jira admins, not us in the Community.

All we can tell you is the general stuff about how Jira works, we can't speak for how your system may be configured.

I'm guessing you have a project called DESK and another called DEL. If DESK is a Jira service management project, then by default it will have a link in the view for "create linked issue in another project".  If it's not a JSM project, then yes you can use the "issue link" function to show a relationship between two issues in different projects (you can do that in JSM projects as well, it's just they already have a function for creating as well as the standard links)
