Create Issue link with Epic Link

I am able to create links to the Jira Create Issue page using the format

https://<org_name>.atlassian.net/secure/CreateIssue.jspa?pid=<project ID>&issuetype=<issue type ID>

This gives me a nice way to put links in Confluence to allow internal staff to quickly raise an issue from a button.

However try as i might, i cannot seem to set the 'Epic Link' field using the same method as for project ID or issue type. I tried 'epiclink =....' and a few variations but nothing

I would ideally like to have a button that lets people create an issue without having to select project, issue type or Epic.

Is it possible to create a link that pre-selects the Epic Link in the form?
