Bug in Control chart date picker

Tiago Nunes April 3, 2020

Hi all,

I am having this issue since last to sprints of my team.

The issues is, when I go to control chart menu, I try to select a custom date and i am not able to insert the date that I want. So I select date to "01/04/2020" and it automaticaly put "31/12/2019".  The same happens in date from but automatically put "01/01/2019".

I tried to change only the year and it allow that change, but cannot change de day or month.

We have the Jira Server 7.3.1

Is it possible to  have any issue with date time in the server? Attached the linux time specs

Can anyone try to help me?

Thanks

Hello @Tiago Nunes

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Per your description, I understand that you are trying to add a specific date to your Control chart filter, however, the system is automatically changing it to a different date from the one you added. Is that correct?

Please, check the following questions and concepts provided so we can confirm we are on the same page here:

1 - How are you adding the dates to the custom dates field in the Control Chart report? Are copying pasting, typing the date manually or selecting it by click in the calendar icon that is displayed in the field?

2 - I checked the format you have configured for the date-picker under General Configuration is "dd/MMM/yy", however, you are trying to enter the date "01/04/2020", which uses the incompatible format "dd/MM/yyyy".

That being said, the incoherency you are facing is expected due to the wrong format entered in the date picker field. Can you please try to enter a date like "01/Apr/20" and check if it works for you?

Let us know if you have any questions.

Hi Petter,

thanks for your reply and help.

1- In control chart I select custom dates with the date picker calendar.

2- If I try to enter date "01/Apr/20" it will be the same. It jumps automatically to "31/Dec/19"  . Also, I tried to change de picker in configurations to "dd/MM/yyyy" or "dd/MM/yy" and didn't worked.

I used "01/Apr/20" and also didn't worked.

Can the timezone server be the cause of the issue?

Thanks
