I'm trying to set the default Tempo Account against a project via jira automation, however I can't seem to update the Account-Links object as there is no documentation for a put request in the tempo docs.

How would I set this via automation?

Hi, @liam.dyer-steel. You can set the default Account for Timesheets by project directly, without having to use Jira Automation.

Hi @liam.dyer-steel

It should be possible to do - you just need to ensure that the Account is either...

  • Linked to the Project where the Automation will take place or...
  • Is global, and can be used on any Project

Then the rule should be something like this...

  • Trigger: Issue Created
  • Action: Edit Issue
    • Field = Account
    • Option = <<Account Here>>

If you need further help, please provide us some additional information about the rule and what it should do
