Did you mean:

you don't have access to any service projects

Alikas Kazlovas September 2, 2021

Hello,

suddenly one of our customers started seeing a message "you don't have access to any service projects" after login into the customer portal. The problem happens to only one customer. Reloging or creating a new password doesn't help.

In a forum I found that removing the account and adding it again should help, but I can't try it, because this specific customer has over 500 requests in his history, so I don't want him to lose it.

How to check what's wrong with this customer or how to reactivate it, if it is needed, without losing his request history?

I removed both user's accounts from our JIRA help desk and added as a new one - it worked out - the user, after connecting to the JIRA customer portal can see his old request.

One thing that would be good to check if you don’t mind. Is it possible that this customer is also listed as a Jira user under administration user management?

if you find this to be the case then go to Jira Service Management under User management, find that user and perform a migrate to Atlassian account action.

additional info: I found that the same person has two accounts, and he uses the same emails address to log in to. How to deactivate the one that is not needed?
