user picker custom field does not show as required field.

Hello,

I have created a custom field called “ Stakeholders “ by using user picker - multi users type. Added it to a workflow- transition  ( open to pending approval ) via “ field is required validator ( JMWE add-on)”.

I also created other custom fields ( multi text , single text, date picker etc.)  and added them by using the same add-on.

 “ Stakeholders” field is not required when the issue transition changes from “open to pending approval” but all the other ones work perfectly fine.  

Could you please help me? I am not sure why it does not work since the other ones work perfectly.

Is it because of the custom field type of user picker?
