If I understood correctly, you have some articles suggested in request forms and you'd like not to display them when customers are using the portal/help center search option?
I believe KB search on the help center is not customizable and something like that isn't supported at the moment. There are some feature suggestions on improving search results > check here, but it might not be specifically related to your requirement.
You could maybe reach out to Atlassian Support and discuss it with them, and the support team can potentially create a new feature request based on this requirement.
