not able to add external email for channel and self service

I'm unable to add an external email to Jira JSM, even though I have full Admin privileges, including Jira Admin and Project Admin rights. When I try to continue with Microsoft (which is my organizational account), it still shows an error

Welcome to the community.

This error message means that you are a project administrator, but not a Jira administrator. You must be a Jira admin to connect a custom mailbox on a service project.

am a Jira admin as well, but it still won't allow me. I tried with both accounts, including the one with full access. Could it be a technical issue

No Jira administrator.

I don't mean product or user administrator.

You will need to be in the group jira-administrators

no i had the JIRA Admin account it was showing the same error, issue was with the cookies i cleared the cookies and then tried it.... after that it worked

yes I do, but still it won't allow me, also have the license and administrative access
