@mentions not working

I am having an issue with a Jira user that isn't able to @ mention other users. They have the correct permissions in order to mention other users as set by the global admin. However, it is still not working.

Hi @Gino Luciano,

Please check if the user has the permission Browse users and groups under Settings > System > Global permissions. To mention people, users should have this permission.
