customers creating account

Good afternoon, how are you? My company uses Jira Service Management, our clients log into Jira and can create an account within the project. How do I stop this from happening again?

Welcome to the Community!

There are 2 things to do to restrict new users to be on-boarded into your JSM project:

1. Set the portal Access to "Don't allow customers to create their own accounts" https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/set-up-and-manage-portal-access/#Set-up-portal-access-for-existing-customers-explicitly-added-to-your-service-project
   
2. Change the "User access settings" to "None", so that no new users can be added as Customers automatically into your service management projects :
