approver group list limited to 20?

I've setup an approval group for an issue and when I try to select the group, that starts with a V, I can't find it. Also when I type the first character(s).

I renamed the group to A_V...... and now it appears on top of my list in the Approver Groups field. It seems the dropdown-list for Approver Groups is limited to 20 entries, regardless of how many groups there are in Jira.

does anyone recognize this, and is it a bug in JiraSM?

I did a quick test (using a word beginning with V) and it worked fine.

Did you continue to type beyond the letter V, in case JSM needed more details to refine the search?

Hi Stephen,

in total we have currently 25 groups and only 2 start with a V. (no groups beyond V)

Playing around with your suggestion, I noticed the character-search is case-sensitive! customer name is an abbreviation, so I should use all CAPITALS.

That solves the search issue :-)
