I’ve been looking into the lack of a simple way to duplicate an entire Jira Service Management Assets schema.
I built a small Forge prototype that can now clone the schema structure end-to-end, including:
object types
parent/child hierarchy
attributes
object references, including references between object types
It does not copy the objects/data themselves — only the schema structure.
The prototype is working, and I’m trying to understand whether this is a real recurring need before taking it any further.
If you manage JSM Assets: have you ever needed to duplicate an entire schema?
