Why does "Quick Watched Issues" gadget include a statusCategory filter?

"Quick Watched Issues" by "codefortynine GmbH" includes a "statusCategory != "Done"" in the implicit filter, while the Jira version of "Watched Issues" by "Atlassian" only includes the "resolution = EMPTY" in the filter.  This seems like a bug.

Because the vendor of the app has seen a hole in Atlassian's build and implemented something to help with it.

Atlassian have neglected "status category" in their reporting, even though it would be very easy to implement.  (But they tend to de-proritise making their partners apps redundant too, so those requests are not exactly high on the to-do list)
