When I open JIRA tickets under Backlogs the attached image files do not load.

Backlog exists only on JSW projects and not on JSM projects. Having said that, you should clarify:
Welcome to the community. Can you provide more details on your question? (i.e. screenshots or error messages etc..)
BTW, what do you mean by "Backlogs"? Are you referring to your JSM's queues or accessing the issue view UI?
