Why can I not enter a Response or Resolution?

Have a team-based project that does not set the Response timestamp and am not able to set the Resolution.

Do I need to create the Response status and workflow?

Have tried different templates and still no joy.

Hi Simon - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You can edit your workflow to add a rule to the transition to Done to set the Resolution field. 

If you were using a Company-managed project you could add a transition screen to the transition to Done which displays the Resolution field. Unfortunately, those are not available for Team-managed projects.

Welcome to the community.  By default - those elements are controlled via the WF only.  Example - For resolution value population, it is always associated in the terminal status of the WF.

What does your WF looks like?  Please advise, so we can recommend your best course of action.
