As part of the Verify Domain process, when we "claim accounts" will there be any adverse effects to the user's previous access? There is a good chance they are using their work email for access to JSM or Jira on other companies sites. We don't want to disrupt their ability to work with those.

Thank you,

Fred

Hi @Fred Gallegos

Welcome to Community!

When you claim accounts they will become Managed Accounts, which means you will be able to edit, delete, or deactivate those accounts. You will be also able to apply security policies to your managed accounts (using additional software Atlassian Access) like requiring users to use two-step verification or set up SAML SSO. You will also be able to verify to which sites (both yours and other organizations) your users has access.

This action will not affect any of the user's permissions on other sites.

Best regards,

Piotr
