A company that uses JSM and require extremely high availability at all times are seeking clarification on how well JSM Cloud handles node failover.  The documentation viewed to date https://www.atlassian.com/trust/security focuses more on availability during scale-up or the amount of available uptime in general.  Is it possible to gain some definitive answers on the amount of time a JSM instance with node failure takes to get up and running again and an explanation around how much downtime might be encountered?

This is at the Premium level.

Hi Yoni,

When you have a JSM Cloud instance it doesn't mean it is backed by only 1 node in the backend. This was the case before 2015 but not anymore.
At this moment Atlassian Cloud uses microservices so you can't know how many nodes are being used for your tenant.

Atlassian Cloud runs on AWS infrastructure. There is an interesting video about this from an AWS event in 2019.
