I need to created custom fields in team manage JSM project. and already created 29 fields.
But i got below error message when i created 30th fields: " You've reached the limit (50) for creating custom fields in this space."
do you know why please? or do you know how can i find all the custom fields i created?
below picture show the 11 custom fields which in red box that i created: total number are 29.
Hi @Vina Wu
In the field list it should show all fields available in the JSM project.
Some fields on the project are also custom field, based on 3rd party app fields or custom fields with a global context.
Why do you need so much fields?
Can't you make use of "Forms", then you can make fields only available on a form and link only form field to Jira field if they are important for reporting
Or use a company managed JSM project if you need so many fields.
But best practice is to use forms and only store field information if this is required for a reason.
Thanks Marc.
Yes, I created most of the fields in the “Forms”, and now I need to link some forms fields to Jira fields for use in the report.
do you know how can i created jira fields in team managed JSM project? i know the limit is 50 fields, but know i only created 29 and got the limit error..

Hi @Vina Wu
Fields from apps, installed in the instance, that can also be used in Team projects are also considered as custom fields.
Can you show all the fields in the project?
If you think there is an issue, relating your instance, then you should create an Atlassian Support ticket, as we on the forum can't access you instance or see logging.
We are users just like you.
