Validation rules for field Custom Form Extension

Hey guys.
I have a text field in the Custom form Extension of which I do two validations:
01. Required;
02. Minimum of 5 characters.
However, users are filling in with blanks.
Would it be possible for me to require specific characters, such as Texts?

If users are leaving it blank, then probably you didn't make it required. Try and check the field configuration again. Go to the field configuration, click on the custom filed, then make it required there.
