Using variables in canned responses

Can I add other variables for the canned responses by my own?

If so, where can I add them?

i.e. the assignee would be a useful variable for us.

Hi Alex,

It looks like you can't edit that list. You can check out different plugins from the Marketplace.

However, there is a backlog item in Atlassian for this currently Gathering Interest
