Canned Responses - custom variables

When adding comments to Service Desk requests, it's possible to set up "canned responses" which can include a small list of variables. 

 

Is there a way to include your own variables, or are we limited to the ones supplied (Issue summary, Issue description, Issue key, Issue reporter, Issue resolution, Request URL, Request status and Request details)?

OOTB you are limited to those in the drop down. You might check the Marketplace for potential addons. I have seen on for server but unsure about cloud.
