User-Specific, Widespread Errors in JSM Cloud (Workflows, Dashboards, Comments)

I am writing on behalf of a user who is experiencing massive and persistent issues while using our JSM Cloud instance. The errors appear to be exclusively affecting this single user. Neither I (as a Site Administrator) nor other colleagues can reproduce these problems.

Affected User has all User and Agent rights!

Summary of Observed Errors:

The user is severely limited in their work as various core Jira functions are failing. Based on screenshots, we have identified the following issues:

  1. Workflow Errors: When viewing issues, the workflow statuses and transitions fail to load (Error message: "Workflow could not be found").
  2. Dashboard & Gadget Errors: Dashboards either do not display at all ("Something went wrong") or the gadgets on them cannot load their configured filters.
  3. Issue Action Errors: The user is unable to transition issues to another status (e.g., "Done") and cannot add comments (error messages suggest connection or permission problems).

Troubleshooting Already Performed:

  • As a Site Administrator, I have verified the user's permissions and project roles. They are configured correctly and are identical to those of other users who are not experiencing issues.
  • Crucially, I have already tried deleting the user's account entirely and then re-creating it. The issues reappeared immediately after the user logged into the new account.
  • The configuration of the affected workflows and filters has been checked and appears to be correct.
  • He is using Firefox and has already tried clearing his cache and cookies without success.

Given the variety of errors and the fact that only one user is affected, we suspect a specific problem with the user account on the Atlassian platform.

Thank you for your support!

Hello,

Do you have Issue Security set up?

Has the user tried a different browser?

How about from a different computer?

You might also want to have the Org Admin try to 'Log in as user' and see if they are able to perform those functions.
