Use ObjectTypeId or ObjectType in AQL

Andy VAN BELLE
December 28, 2023

Assets structure.

-CMDB
--- IT Equipment
--- Audio Equipment
--- Video Equipment
- INFO TABLE
--- CI Type

Video Equipment
..../jira/servicedesk/assets/object-schema/4?mode=attribute&typeId=41
ObjectTypeID = 41
ObjectType="Video Equipment"

When i add an object in CMDB / Video Equipment i have an object link to the info table "CI Type"
Can i use a statment in AQL so that only certain CI-types are visible/filtered.
So that i cannot select CI Type "Laptop" for example when i add an object in "Video Equipment"

For example AQL : "Use In" = ObjectType
Is ObjectType value/name already available the moment i create an asset in Video Equipment?

Content CI Type Table
Record1
Field 1 text -> CI Type Name : Camera
Field 2 text -> Use In: Video Equipment

Record 2
Field 1 text -> CI Type Name : Go-Pro
Field 2 text -> Use In : Video Equipment

Kind Regards from Belgium
Andy
