Hello,
We are currently a customer of Atlassian through Tory Technologies and actively use Jira Service Management (Jira Ops) to manage our service desk operations.

At this time, we are interested in better understanding the differences between Jira Ops and OpsGenie, specifically in terms of:

  • Key functionalities and use cases
  • Advantages of each solution
  • Recommended scenarios for using one over the other

Additionally, we would like to explore the commercial aspect, including:

  • Available plans and pricing models
  • Licensing considerations when transitioning from Jira Ops to OpsGenie

We would also appreciate:

  • Any relevant documentation or comparison materials
  • Guidance on best practices for evaluating a potential transition

If possible, we would be interested in scheduling a meeting with your team to further discuss this and evaluate whether migrating to OpsGenie would be a suitable option for our needs.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Hello @Juliana Caicedo

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

This is a user community, not the primary path for working with Atlassian directly.

You mentioned that you are actively using JSM, but also mentioned OpsGenie. Are you already using OpsGenie?

As per this page new sales of OpsGenie have ended.

https://www.atlassian.com/software/opsgenie/pricing

Therefore setting up a new OpsGenie subscription is no longer an option for you.

You can find pricing information and overview information about functionality for the JSM product on the Atlassian website.

You might want to look at the information on the Service Collection, which include JSM plus additional products.

From the Atlassian website you can contact their sales team to get more information.

Alternately you could consider working with an Atlassian Solution Partner if your want more customized support in your evaluation process. You can find such partners in the Atlassian Partner Directory.
