Unable to view newly created queue

Manny Angulo February 12, 2025

Hello, I created a new project and created some new queues however when i create a ticket on the right side under "details" i see "queue" as a dropdown menu clicking on it shows all queues we have as part of the other project but not the new queues i created. I need the new queues to show up in this dropdown.

@Manny Angulo can you share a screenshot of what you're seeing? Queues are specific to JSM projects and a queue in Project A shouldn't be visible in Project B.

Screenshot 2025-02-12 124713.png Left side you can see the queue i created "Test" if i click on "Queue" on the right side the dropdown menu shows several queues that we have however it doesn't show "test" .
The other project is 'Company shared" this one is "team shared" which is probably why i can see the other projects queues in here (which is fine) i just want to be able to see the new queues I create in there aswell.

Queue on the right is a custom field that somebody has manually populated to match the queues available on the left. If you want to add 'test' to that list you'll have to get in touch with a Jira admin.

where can the settings be found to add a new field to that dropdown menu ?

System Settings > Issues > Custom Fields > "Queue". From here you should be able to modify the as desired.

Keep in mind this requires Jira Admin privileges
