If I try to view the customer profile under the customers under the "Channels & People" section it just goes to a pages that says
We landed here for a user that does not exist.
Head back to the directory to search for another user.
I don't get this error, because they clearly exist as a customer is my service desk. I want to see if I could edit the customer name to show a nicer name in the reporter fields of the issues. I have two customers under one organisation and they both appear very similar to each other and the team is getting confused on whom in organisation is the correct reporter.
Can anybody help?
Hey @Matt Grill ,
That's one of those things that's annoying and unclear.
A customer (that doesn't have a proper Atlassian account) will indeed error our on that profile. Normally you can go to the "Portal Only Customers" and you should be able to view details there.

keep in mind that you cannot control their account but you can "suggest" to them that they change something.
