Unable to modify portal page for project

I am unable to edit a created project even though im set as an administrator for all my jira accounts and organizations, what do i need to do to edit.

What steps are you executing exactly? What blocks are you encountering? Are you getting an error message? Are you not finding the options you expect to find?

Is the project a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project? That information will display at the bottom of the panel on the left, when you are viewing the project.
