Turn off email notifications when Automation for JIRA creates a sub-task.

Is this possible? Automation for JIRA is the actor so people are getting way more emails than they need.

@Ben Weisman -

Hi Ben:

Here are a few things that you can do -

1) In automation rules action (EDIT issue action), you need to uncheck the send notification checkbox.

This action is the most used action in automation rule configuration.  By default it is always enable.  This should also reduce the notifications.

2) You can also change the rule actor to User who triggered the event.  This will eliminate the notification to the person who triggered the event.  By default in Jira/JSM, user account profile is set to not notifying him/herself with changes performed by him/herself.

Hope this helps.
