Hello,
Was wondering how to set reporters access to view and edit their own tickets only in 1 project. I have created issue security schemes, but cannot assign it to my project in service desk.
Any help/advise would kindly appreciated.
Thank you,
Uri
Hi Uriel,
It's possible to set users to see specific issues, but in this case, it won't use the field "Reporter", you must manually set who will see the ticket. This process is manual because it's not Issue security.
You can check more details below:
- How to allow a user to see specific tickets w/o issue security
Hope this helps!

Angélica
Hi Angelica,
Thank you for your response. When you mention users, are you referring to agents or reporters? I want to set reporters to only view the tickets they submit without having to select "Share with No one" on the ticket form. I would like to apply all ticket forms to share with no one, so that no other users from the same organizations can view other tickets. Below is a screenshot of the field I am referring to.
Thank you!
Uriel

Thank you for the details.
I meant users because the only way to restrict reporters to see specific tickets is by giving them access to the instance, in this case, making them internal users.
When a customer is added to an organization, they will always have the option to open a private or a shared request, it's not possible to disable this option.
If you don't want them to share, the only way is by removing them from the organization.
We have a feature request suggesting the implementation of the ability to disable this field:
Please, click on vote and watch to receive updates about the feature.

Ah I see. Is there a way to remove a user from an existing organization without deleting their account?
Thanks,
Uriel

Sure, you can open the organization and when you hover the mouse over their names, you will see an X on the right side. When you click on the X it will remove them from the organization and they will show on the customers' list.
